Well considering it was a base that has 3 times as many original Pinnacle to Mesaba ( and shifting even more to the 9E 200s) why would this be at all a shock. The interm voting was like a silly high school pep rally along company lines, why would this be different?

And considering Mesaba's reps won Memphis...Pinnacle's home turf. It sounds like the XJ reps there got more votes than there are Mesaba pilots down there too. Either way, it's time to move on. Now the permanent reps are in place and we need to move on...with every aspect of this merger.

CS doesn't even have the support of his own MEC (though he thinks he is running all 3). Unless PCL quickly finds a very talented person to run as the combined MEC Chairman, then TW will win easily.

CS has served PCL poorly, especially the First Officers.

And who's to blame? It's not the pilot group that voted him in, it was the individual union rep/leaders. Personally, if it ends up being a TW versus CS issue, the entire pilot group of 3000 should vote and the majority votes should win it.
