Dude, it's fmcguide.com.
I bought them and they are pretty in depth.
Yep, I'll second that, very in depth... excellent study guides. Definitely get the Cockpit Companion book, it does a great job on covering the cockpit layout and related systems. Small size, fits in your flight bag, includes systems schematics.
As for the FMC Guide, I think that it's a toss-up. I bought it and read maybe 10 pages, then gave up. It's very in depth, maybe too deep for this glass cockpit rookie. Kinda hard to learn the FMC without having a sim or CPT to actually play with the box. I ended up starting on the FMC in the sim and CPT, learned a bit more on IOE, and kept learning over the next few thousand hours... I never did get back to the FMC Guide like I thought I would. But that's just me; plus the book might be upgraded (simpler?) by now, you might have better luck with it.
Last year I flew several trips with the author... was kinda cool to see him at work on his book. He had his laptop with him, constantly upgrading and improving the content, plus taking new (we were in a new -900) cockpit pictures on his digital camera to include in the next printing batch. His book is mainly geared towards Continental ships, which I guess are pretty generic, but he has so much demand from Southwest pilots he made up a separate SW book.
