Subject: Donations Anyone???

Donation Amounts
Mods,

Feedback on the donation listing? We're starting to get whiners regarding the break down:

http://forums.flightinfo.com/showthread.php?p=783857#post783857

I think some of this is simply people whining, don't want to donate and are finding an excuse trying to blame me for pushing to a certain level. Some of the people I recognize (English) that are simply sour people and have been in the past on this forum. I can't cave to every complaint, but if you feel it has merit, I'll react. I DO feel those that contribute 100 or more do deserve recognition for their above and beyond generosity, as well as the 500 and 1000 levels. I feel quite strong in the way it is now, but I don't want peoples complaints to provide an "out" for those that haven't donated yet and would even consider deleting their posts as such. They can PM me this feedback, not put it publicly.

Opinions?

Folks, I'll be sporadic online during my move, but, I spoke with Michael, he likes the listing of donors as it is, i.e. the break down, no amounts, recognizing those that did donate above and beyond, just as we see in any other donation event. We simply are not going to please everyone, the system is in place, there's no intent to change it, let's let it rest and do its job for those willing to donate. We can't keep reacting, some want us to do that so they can have their say and see the change as a result. Leave it be...control the negativity from those that are sour, and let's not have tension while Mark rests in peace!
