AC 61-98A describes procedures for flight reviews required under 61.56 and 61.57, but does any one know where I might find info for use in conducting flight training required under 61.55 and 61.58?
 
Many of these operations will be in the service of certificated carriers (135 or 121, others) the carrier is responsible to provide the training. Flight Safety Intl. is a typical source for non carrier operators.
 
Our original question acknowledged the existence of AC 61-98. They were looking for something similar, which covered FAR 61.55 & 61.58. My guess is to persue ACs dealing with FAR 135, 121, 125,129 etc. These reviews (61.55 & 58) are mostly for operations, which fall under one of these parts.

Upon further review I see TZRav8r is a pilot of a C500.
Possibly wanting to develop your own training curriculum to meet the regs in question? AC 61-89E may meet your needs. It is more for the initial training than currency. But it follows that recurrent will be a review of initial, and insure the same basic standards. Give that one a try find it at:

We operate a C550 under 135. One of my fellow captains is DQed. We do our initial and recurrent training at Simcom. For one reason or another, which only management seems to understand, this gentlman will not be going to training for another 20 some days. Instead of letting him sit at home collecting a free check they want him to operate under part 91. Due to 91.58 he will not be able to act as PIC. We were attempting to figure out how he could operate as an SIC, 91.55. Since all of our training for the C550 is contracted with Simcom we have no SOP to give us guidance. Since we all know how management can operate sometimes, we, the crew, were looking for publications such as ACs to make sure we abide by the only real SOP at a small 135 outfit: CYA! Obviously, the right thing and the smart thing to do would be to go to training. However, that is a decision that is well above my payscale. Obviously those in charge are smarter and more knowledgable than I, why else would they be called managemnet? Thanks for the input!
 
If you want him to operate as SIC under Part 91, then it's a non-issue. There is no SOP. He must be familiar with the aircraft and make three takeoffs and landings, per 61.55. If He's type rated in the airplane and wants to act as PIC under 61.58, then he only needs a check in type every 24 months, and a a check every 12 months in any aircraft certificated for more than one crewmember.

No specific training program, no SOP.

61.55(d) specifically excludes Part 135. So does 61.58(b). In other words, neither of those subparagraphs apply to operations conducted under Part 135. If you want to conduct operations under Part 135, you either need to use your approved training vendor (as provided in your OpSpecs A031), or have an approved training manual and program to meet the qualification requirements under this part.

Under Part 91, you need no such program.

I'm not certain I understand your question, then. Is this man dequalled because he is out of his six month check to act as PIC under Part 135? If that's the case he's good to go under Part 91...he only needs a 12 month check in any aircraft requiring more than one crewmember. He only needs a 24 month check in type. Just how far out of currency is this individual? If he's more than 12 months out for 61.58, then he's certainly at least 6 months overdue for a PIC check under Part 135.

What exactly is the story, here?
