I just need to vent a little.

Today we had a guy walk over to my chief pilot that told him that he would do my job for 50% less pay!!! would you believe that!!!! (I'm a BE-200 corp. pilot)

Glad I wasn't there at the time..

ONG.

(by the way, my boss told him to get the **** out)

bud still, I can't believe why the **** a professional pilot would do that.

You might be right.. He had something like 350 hours total, with 100 BE-90. No kidding. (TAB!?) (....)

Had someone do this to myself and the guy I flew with at the time right after 9-11. He was a furloughed airline guy.

He didn't get a job, with us at least.

I am shocked that someone would do that!

First, it shows a distinct lack of class.

Second, it shows that they do not place much value on their ability to get a job without undercutting someone else.

Third, if I were the Chief Pilot, I would be thinking this person would next go to the CEO saying they could do my job for 50% less!

Maybe this person needs to come to me for job search advice and salary negotiation training! :D

Unreal.....

Kathy

Tell him if you ever need someone with 50% less skill, class, and professionalism you'll give him a call.
