Does anyone have info on Lindsay Aviation based in West Seneca NY? From what I understand, they fly c130's that are stationed all over the place.

I worked there for a year about ten years ago. It was an OK place to work. Go tmy multi time real quick. Kinda typical frieght, but I didn't have any major problems. Not sure what it is like these days.

I used to be in and out of SDF all of the time with Airnet three years ago. There was a Lyndsy pilot in and out of there all of the time. His run was 2 round trips to CVG Monday through Thurday night. Sorry I don't have any info on pay, but I thought I heard him say he made mid twenties.

Is Joe still running the place? He tried to sell me one of his old 310's a bunch of years ago. When I showed up to look at it, buy it, fly it home only then did I discover that a) he didn't own it, and b) he seemed to missplace the left engine.

Yup, no motor.

Slow on the deposit return too. But did come through eventualy.

bumping a real thread

I was probably the one you saw at SDF. I worked there for 5 years and just left in January. It is a great job. Joe always treated me well. Pay was considerably better than anywhere else. Much more than was suggested in this thread. I didn't leave until I got a really good offer. I turned down all kinds of stuff over the last few years because it was such a good job for someone with a family.

But...I have been enjoying sleeping at night. Ha Ha

Lindsay is rarely hiring because people tend to stay. If you do get an interview, make sure you are very instrument current. Joe doesn't have much interest in helping someone get up to speed on basic instrument flying.

Fly safe!
