254 active users at 10:45 AM on a Saturday...how pathetic are we?

I think I'm going to turn the computer off for a while and try to figure out who these human beings are in my house...Oh yeah, that's my wife and kids, I think. I wonder what their names are? Better log off before I call my son Ty Webb, Chase, Joe Vee, General Lee, Flying Cricket or Fly By Cable....Yikes!

Once I took a roommate out with some other friends and she was the only one who didn't fly. By the time we got home she was in tears and couldn't understand how we could be so rude to her. I tried to explain, but to no avail. I really tried to mix the conversation, but aviation is a passion and a disease.

In defense, another friend said its like we speak a foreign language, and when we are around others who speak the same language we get lost in the moment. I try not to have a one-track mind, but its really interesting to hear stories from other folks who speaka ma language.

Flightinfo.com the online community for pilots in pajamas.

Pajama's what's them?

enigma

edit: You've got to admit, arguing with other pilots on the internet sure beats sitting around the crashpad watching law and order for the twelfth time....even in your pajamas.

Great...just what I needed...another bad visual attacking what little brain cells I have left...

Just another excellent reason to live alone in domicile in my own place...

Ahh yes. Very common with non-flying females. You have to handle this delicately. I solved this problem with my girlfriend by taking her for a ride in the jet. She's been asking great questions ever since. The other day we were driving past Rome VOR (REO), out in the middle of nowhere, and she says: "Look, Honey, it's one of those 'Very Loud Omni-Locator Thingys.'" I had to pull over and weep I was so proud.
