1-Does Skywest pay during training? Hotel? Perdiem?

2-Is there a DFW base or not? I've heard different answers.

Thanks a lot.

1 - The new hire training pay varies: When I was hired a year ago – no pay at all, a hotel room for two…
Now: Pay 75 hours @ $19.02
Hotel room with no roommates

Transition/upgrade/recurrent training: 75 hour of your rate, per diem 24/7, if not based in SCL

2 - Sort of: 2 CA’s, 2FO’s and 2FA’s. Seniority is high so if you want to get there – it’ll take a while and only if those guys would want to leave….
As of now..

DFW base........

The DFW base is a "reserve" base and technically in violation of Skywest policy for establishment of a domicile. Secondly with Skywest's January reduction in flights from DFW, there's no telling how long it will be in existence.

Thanks for the replies, I'm glad to hear about the pay in training. We are professionals and it is so wrong to not pay someone for training. Especially when that training can take up to 3 months. Thats why Pinnacle never got my resume and never will.

Jeff... what are you doing man? I thought you made it on at TSA? Thinking about jumping already and moving to another airline?

not really

Hey Noel, I just want to keep all options open. I'm happy with the training/people here at TSA and I'm sure I will stay here. It's just that **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** "greener pastures" syndrome and I at least want to ask some questions instead of just saying "no thanks". I know Skywest is a good company.
