Does anyone have any idea how to calculate pay for a 2 airplane operation? I am curious about pay for a single turbine and a light jet. If you were hired by a company with a single turbine which you have already been captain qualified in, and they were going to type you in the jet.... How much should you expect to be paid? First year? second year? Any info would be good. It is easy to figure out expected pay for a single plane operation, but is there a difference in a 2 plane op? I am especially curious what the previous captain (initial training & experience) qualification is worth.

Your compensation should fall within the benchmarks for the largest aircraft you would be expected to fly within your flight department.

For example, if your company operated a C150 and a B747 and you were captain on both, you would be paid B747 captain pay.

Clear enough?

I second this.
