1st FW Langley AFB

[Birdstrike]

My son starts USAF ROTC next fall at VMI. We'd like to visit LAFB and see whatever operations/maintenance we can in the 1st. I didn't see a 'vistors' link on their website. Short of showing up unannounced and going home disappointed, any ideas on how to request a visit? Protocol? I'm retired Army, thanks.
