About right, but I'd gladly pay more for a descent instructor, which is what you should be looking for the most. Money is money. It comes and goes. Good training can stay with you forever and save your a$$ one day. And other people's a$$es for that matter.

In short, find the best CFI you can. Pay more if you have to.
 
Man, you guys on the east coast get screwed on airplane rentals. In Denver, that same setup would cost around 70 bucks.
