anyone know of any software to use for scheduling part 135 flights? I'm curious to know if anyone is using an excel spreadsheet, formal software or anything that would work. We need to replace a flight board that is nothing more that a pad of paper.

thanks

our company uses a program called NavPak for the flight planning. We are in the process of changing over from our board on the wall to a computerized scheduling program....don't know the exact name though.

CTA-FOS/NT

CTA-FOS/NT is currently the best package available. It comes with a Report Writer for Information Systems Management (Reports and Data Administration) and is also terminal access available via WWW (PDA in the future). It can also be integrated with MX Software (ATP/CAMP).

If you are a small 135 operator, FLT OPS is #2, navpak is a distant 3rd.

I have a complete scheduling/flight following program built from the ground up at the operator I work for. We have been using it for over a year. It does quotes in no time at all, helps you plan fuel/FBO services, and can do reports. It has FBO info and numbers for all the airports in North America and even the world. If you want any more info or some screen shots email me at [email protected]. You can also PM me, but I am not on this regularly.
