Wondering if anybody in the know has any information on piggybacking on someone else's 135 certificate.

We just bought a Chieftain and my boss is wanting some info.

Thanks.

It really depends on the operator. Some will want more control than others (and I can't blame them). At a minimum:

1) Aircraft will need to pass an FAA conformity check
2) Pilots must complete initial indoc with the 135 company
3) Complete all training and 135 checkrides for the company

Most companies will want control of all maintenance documents and inspections, pilots to call in every lg for flight tacking purposes, and all pilot flight time reported to track flight and duty times.

Most likely the operator will work out a per hour lease rate for the aircraft. One sticky issue is insurance. Most operators will want to put the aircraft on their fleet policy to keep all the paperwork tidy. You will also need to determine who will be flying the aircraft (owners personal pilots or operators pilots). I'm sure I missed something, but its a good start.
