I'm logging PIC on Hawker and Lear-about 30 a month.
My eyes are set on the majors for later on.should I leave for the regionals for a few years 'till the recovery for some 121 time?how important is it?I am flying 135 pax...but I DONT care for the owner and I am on call 24/7.
thanks.

I am in kind of the same boat that you are in except that I am not yet typed in the Westwind. I will be in a month, although.

Since you are typed in the Hawker and Lear, and are getting valuable jet PIC time, I would not leave. And why would you? You are going to sit in the right seat at any regional for 3 - 6 years depending on the airline.

Now I know that being on call 24/7 sucks, God knows I've done it, but it will pay off in the end.

Good Luck

Max,

I agree that corporate sucks, but I would stay put.

I wouldn't want to be at the bottom of any seniority list right now.

I have two friends at Delta that got hired in the mid 90's when it was very difficult to get hired there.

100% corporate with no Military back ground.

Good luck...

Talking about 121 or 135 I was wondering what would be better. Going to a regional or logging part 135 pic in a Metro III. What would be better in the long run?

ASA upgrade?

anyone knows how long to upgrade at ASA?
what are the chances to be in Dallas?
thanks
