Looking for some help here ... does anybody know any good charter companies in the DC area who are looking for pilots? I know about Frederick Aviation and Chantilly Air, but there must be others. I'm close to BWI, IAD and MTN, but would be willing to look further afield.

I've got about 550 multiengine, an ATP and am currently flying Chieftains.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

If it's not to far, I believe Maryland Air out of Easton was hiring a little while back. There was a charter company based at BWI with a 421, 414, and a Citation I or II, but I can't remember the name and I don't know if they are still hiring.

Citationkid,

thanks for the tip. I'll look into it.

You know, with all the business and government stuff in the DC-Baltimore-Richmond area, you'd think there would be more obvious corporate and 135 opportunities.

There's AmAv and Denesin (I may have spelled it wrong) out of MTN. But I have no clue whether or not they are hiring. AmAv has a bunch of King Airs, a Citation VII, a CJ2, and a CJ1. Denesin has a couple GIIs and IIIs, aswell as a Conquest and Lear 60. If you're willing to move to the eastern shore there's a good part 91 gig flying a Navajo three days a week.

Air Wisconson will be hiring for IAD

AWAC is hiring for IAD.

Corp:

Gannett (USA TODAY) IAD, (not hiring, but check their website for job postings)

Black and Decker - MTN

Rouse Co. - MTN (Good Luck, they have two pilots and use FSI instructors as contract pilots on occasion - HS125)
