135 Charter Job in FXE (C402)

There's a job opening asap for a 135 Charter Pilot on Cessna 402B in FXE (Ft. Lauderdale Executive). Please PM me with your Resume if you're interested.

Requirements are:

- 2000 TT
- 1000 ME
- 25 Hrs. in 400 Series Cessna (Considerable more time in 400 Series Cessna might wave some of the 1000 ME)
- Legal right to stay and work in the USA
- Legal right to travel out of the country (I-512 no problem)

Prior 135 Experience preferred but not nessecary.

Charter is with PAX and/or Cargo to the Bahamas. 99% is Day/VFR. Company is family owned and has a nice work environment. Since Season is coming up, you WILL be very busy!

Cheers,

sounds like execstar. If so, take out glass insurance on your car.

Huh? Execstar has 402s? Since when?

Execstar has had 402B models atleast since 1999. I worked that craphole for about a month. Once heard the guy call one of the Jamaicans that worked there a you know what. The sad thing is the Jamaican was a real nice guy.
There is just something about Clyde O'conner(The drug running Colombian with an Irish last name) that makes my stomach turn. Either its his burnt skin or its his attitude towards life, I don't know which one.

BTW Bimini Island Air ain't all that bad a place to pick up a thousand hours. I had a blast working there.

Dude

You mean to tell me that the Fed's haven't shut that place (Execstar) down yet? I thought they would be UNDER the jail by now. I flew with them shortly last summer and still haven't gotten rid of the stench.

flydaddy

Although Execstar is worthy of all of the negative publicity here, it is my suggestion that anyone who even considers flying for ANY operator at FXE take a few minutes and consider that there are a lot of other ways to risk your life and make money ex:FEAR FACTOR!!!

ANY pilot should take a minute and consider whether the plane is airworthy or not, some call that "pre-flight". They don't call it PIC for nothing. If you don't feel good about it, don't take it. So far, I had no problems, you fly it or write it up and have it fixed.

The problem is Pilots who take a plane that has been grounded by another pilot (for good reasons) and take the trip. THAT is the problem. Is there a scab list for that?

Yeah, didn't think so...
