There's a job opening asap for a 135 Charter Pilot on Cessna 402B in FXE (Ft. Lauderdale Executive). Please PM me with your Resume if you're interested.

Requirements are:

- 2000 TT
- 1000 ME
- 25 Hrs. in 400 Series Cessna (Considerable more time in 400 Series Cessna might wave some of the 1000 ME)
- Legal right to stay and work in the USA
- Legal right to travel out of the country (I-512 no problem)

Prior 135 Experience preferred but not nessecary.

Charter is with PAX and/or Cargo to the Bahamas. 99% is Day/VFR. Company is family owned and has a nice work environment. Since Season is coming up, you WILL be very busy!

Cheers,
Sun'n Fun

Smells like Bimini Island Air. . . . be afraid, be very afraid. I'd rather swim.

PS. would someone move this ad to the appropriate forum.

No, it's not Bimini Air. Like I said, a small family owned operation. Safe planes, nobody pushes you to do things you don't feel comfortable with. I was very happy there. :)

I've posted this also to the 135 Forum, but this section is read more and job postings should be as visible as possible. And no, I'm not Mgmt. Just a pilot who would like to get the word out. Maybe there should be a separate Job Forum on here?

If it's not Bimini, then please pardon my earlier remarks.

135 to the islands can be a tough racket. Load the airplanes, weigh the pax, fly the trip, and an 18 minute flight requires 25 minutes of paperwork . . . . on the other hand, most of it is good wx flying, and you are home almost every night, but I am glad that part of my life is well behind me.

Wouldn't mind hitching a ride to some of the Exuma islands, once in a while, though!

No problemo. :)

I have never spend a night away from home. Aside from the Thunderstorms during the summer it's beautiful flying. You, all by yourself (well, a couple of boxes and some other weird cargo, once I had a full size ride-on lawnmower in the back...), surrounded by nothing but blue (sky and sea) at 10.5... hard to beat.

The only downside is that my instrument skills eroded quicker than a trip to bimini. Well, and the pax, you learn to deal with it. Most of the people are in vacation mode anyways, so they're pretty easy going. Unless you had to pick up a load of pax that has been waiting at the airport for 6 hours because of a mechanical earlier. ;)

And throwing bags? Well, saved me the money for the gym membership. :D
