How hard is it to get a 135 cert. and what can you do with it? I have an opprotunity to fly parts for a major regional carrier(in my own airplane) do I need a 135 cert.?

While the above website is nice, go to the Atlanta FSDO's website. They lay it all out. Many other FSDO's refer potential operators to this site. AND IT'S FREE!

Plain langague almost totally cut and paste. Anyone with the ability to read and UNDERSTAND english can make the process happen.

And yes you will need an air carrier certificate to do that. Next, do you really want to do and get involved with the whole process?

It'll cost you many $$ and time before you see one dime in revenue. I have found the process far from cut and dry unless you fully understand the 8400 handbook and have a POI who does as well. Many of the inspectors have trouble with it.
