Has anyone heard of an administrative ruling on the subject of being scheduled more than 6 days and the rest required. Our companies position is that it can be a 24hr period.I thought I saw a ruling where it had to be a calender day(from midnight to midnight).I think it was a ruling against Commair but I'm not sure if it was before or after Whitlo's interpretaion.Which is what our company screws.. I mean schedules us under.Either way it is unfortunate that our company can't schedule us effficiently enough so we can't 30 in 7 before that

As far as i know, Calendar day is usually in contract only. 24 hours is FAR 121. Might be something to think about during next negotiations. BTW,what airline you work for?

Some airlines will have a willingness to recognize safety and proper rest. Sojust want to see how much they can bleed a turnip based on the regs.
