Maybe my memory is too clouded but is there a way to find out what your ten year living history? I have moved several times during that period and would appreciate a lead in the right direction. I have never seen this on an app. but it is right there plain as day.

Thanks in advance

10 year emplyment history?

How do you list a business that no longer exists? The store I worked for in college has been knocked down and replaced with a shopping mall.

Just about every airline I worked for is out of business. When it mattered, I listed the company, its status(Tango Uniform) and a reference who could vouch for my employment there.

As to the residence issue, that's standard on every app I've seen. I was lucky to have lived with my mom till I was 40...

You might try the IRS for past tax returns.TC

Most major credit reporting companies (Equifax, Trans Union, etc.) list previous addresses on your credit report, which you can get a copy of. However, they usually don't list dates, and the extent of this information can be hit and miss from one report to the next...but they can contain some useful information.

Some advice. Once you compile this information for an application, it is a VERY wise idea to keep a copy on file, either a hard copy or stored as a document on your computer, so that you can retrieve this information easily for future applications, since most companies will require this information.

The tax records idea is a good one, although most people don't keep ten years of records on file.

I went ahead and bought a one day pass to a personal search site......webcrawler i think.....it worked great for me. Every address I have ever had.....scary to think it is floating around out there...anyways thanks for the suggestions....

and I DID keep a hard copy for reference

If the company you worked went Tango uniform, all you need is a paycheck stub or someone that can verify that you actuly worked there.

i just interviewed recently. The airline wanted a signed letter from someone you know (not a family member) doctor, lawyer, previouse flightinstructor etc anyone not related to you that could verify that you worked there and that they are no longer around. they sent a sample letter with the application packet.

Some states require credit reporting agencies to give you a free credit report when requested. Not the "freecreditreport.com" crap. But a real free credit report. New Jersey is one of these states. I got all three major credit reports at no cost.

Check with your state office of consumer affairs to find out how. The info for NJ was somewhere in the www.state.nj.us site.
