Found this in the interesting link about how a 170 made an "unintentional" gear-up landing during testing.

Word has it Embraer was in Indy yesterday and today with the 170 to give CHQ brass a look.

Happened at ACA to but we didn't buy. Doesn't really mean anything that they were there, but I am sure you guys would like to start the rumor, they are looking for buyers. The problem is if they can even make a deliverly, since they are a year behind schedule with Al Italia, they are having huge avionics problems with the a/c. Inregards to the undisclosed order of 10 190's, that can be anybody. It's probably not even a U.S. company.

Even with the avionics problem the E170 is set for US certification in November 2003.
