    Stay away from Mesa

    Its been about 7 years since I was at the regionals. I seem to remember this exact thread title. We all know mesa is not a great place. As long as there are low time, hungry pilots, with jets in their eyes, Mesa will be able to hire pilots.

    I'm trying to get my Insurrence underwriter to approve "3 green aviation for" pc12 re current. I have USAIG. They want some names of companies, and their associated underwriters, who have signed off on 3 green. Thought I would cast a net out here and see.

    No i agree totally. That is why I posted the question. I was taught to turn everything off on a visual approach, get your eyes outside of the cockpit, and just fly.

    Does anyone know of a reg that says the flight director must be used during a visual approach, in a turbojet aircraft. Scenario. Planning ILS. Cleared visual on base leg, 5000 ft above airport. Can I turn the FD of, and just hand fly the airplane?
