    Stay away from Mesa

Its been about 7 years since I was at the regionals. I seem to remember this exact thread title. We all know mesa is not a great place. As long as there are low time, hungry pilots, with jets in their eyes, Mesa will be able to hire pilots.

Best zero time to regional route

Well said. You have until 65 years to be a pilot(give or take)sometimes the quickest way to the finish seems the slowest.

    Aircraft management

How Much should I charge to manage a CJ1 172 Malibu, and some sort of high performance twin who's model escapes me. It would be all of the duties, minus the flying.

    PC 12 re current/ USAIG

I'm trying to get my Insurrence underwriter to approve "3 green aviation for" pc12 re current. I have USAIG. They want some names of companies, and their associated underwriters, who have signed off on 3 green. Thought I would cast a net out here and see.

    flight director

No i agree totally. That is why I posted the question. I was taught to turn everything off on a visual approach, get your eyes outside of the cockpit, and just fly.

    flight director

Does anyone know of a reg that says the flight director must be used during a visual approach, in a turbojet aircraft. Scenario. Planning ILS. Cleared visual on base leg, 5000 ft above airport. Can I turn the FD of, and just hand fly the airplane?

Two families. Don't know if there are any charitable type owners looking to help the effort. If so, PM me...

    free recurrents at fsi?

check with your local un employment center. They have a program formerly called the dislocated worker program. Every county gets a certain amount of money. This money is given to people who have lost their job, and could possibly find a new job if they had training. It is a long process, and...

    Interesting

you never know why any company(airline or other) rejects you. Go and live in the real world, and apply for business type jobs. See how many f#$@ offs you receive. The bottom line is, pilots are a dime a dozen rite now. Who knows what AWAC, or any company is looking for. They have all the...

    Air Wisconsin letter?

I flew for air wisconisn back in the day. Does anyone who is still there remember giving up pay to "secure our united flying contract". Then about a year later the flying got taken away. It turned out our flying was never secured, despite the fact that we took a pay cut. However management...
