    NJA hiring for 09

R Surely Mr Buffett has considered his participation with the O campaign to be complementary to his interests in NJA. Oh wait now Mr. B finds he was overly enthusiastic about the fractional business. The more I know the more confused I become!

Getting a Foot in the Door!!

At the YAF its NOT $. Its commitment to the group, sweat equity, patience. We value volunteering beyond flight operations. The amount of flying is limited and we try to give folks enough flying to stay proficient. It may take some time for an opening.

    USAir Furlough Recall: My Decision

Couldn't have said better Outstanding Post! To the point. ALPA turns out to be in conflict of interest with itself. I've concluded a union can not properly represent a mainline operation and the regionals. My data 50/18/11/bottom looming. Meaning- 50 years old, furloughed 11 of past 18...

    Captain Resume Description

I recently commented to my dispatcher that it was my job to be the company's "paid pessimist." The schedule will probably not hold up to the plan. The weather will be at least as bad as forecast. Maintenance won't have time to address the most critical deferals. There will be holding in...

    #($&#(*&$@# Controllers

I'd do the ASRS report. How about "My Associate", that's how other professions refer to one another and the business world seems to function reasonably well with the phrase as well.

    Source for Oceanic Winds

Try www.flightplanning.navcanada.ca for good planning tools for the N Atlantic. The button for N Atlantic Turbulence is my favorite tool.

What makes a good Corporate Pilot?

HawkerFO great post I agree. Also JumpJet good but I would add most of the principals will listen to "No" willingly IF it is followed with "but this is what we can do, which option works best for you?"

    BBJ job

I'm interested in hearing about BBJ positions however I have no NG experience. Intrigued by your warbird types, who have you been flying with? I'm associated with Yankee in Michigan.
