    My First Solo

    Wait 'til they're a couple of hours late from a solo XC. I had one guy almost fly to Mexico (long story, but he got reaaaaly lost and ended up in Del Rio.) He was only like 4 hours late. At least he had enough sense to buy some gas and he found his way back without too much difficulty.

    This is what makes tankering make sense. We paid $6.30 at Sig IAD yesterday (includes all the BS fees and taxes.) It would have been cheaper to take an extra 200 or 300 gallons of $4.50 gas from the previous stop and pay the Signature $300 fee.
