I ask, because my wife is considering a career change.
We have been together for over 20 years and she has heard plenty of talk about the Part 91 and regional 121 world.
But, after 18 years as a school teacher, she's had her fill of B.S. (political red-tape and bureaucracy).
So, she's...
A DL dumpster told me that is had to do with limitations for an auto land.
How true that is I don't know.
But when it is clear and a million, don't they remember how to manually land it?
OMG, there is wind out there!
When I FIRST read this post, I thought, "Well, 98% of them have MEL's or ARE broken."
Basically, the number is: More than any other regional out there.
HaHaHaHaHaHa!!!!!!!! I guess this guy's sinus infection wasn't cured!
Definitely! How did he pass the Aeromedical section of the PPL written?
He probably SCUBA dives right before a trip, too.
It was an announcement of us gaining 26 more birds. Unfortunately that flying was handed over to a different carrier. Heard this from three IP's. *not joking*
Therefore, you can stop holding your breath. There will be no big announcement after all.
Bull******************** Flag! DALPA wanted to flowback to the TOP of the seniority list at Comair. Can't blame Comair for telling DALPA to take a hike.
Flying a turboprop IS work! Oh, those wonderful Brasilia V1-cuts in the sim. Slam your foot through the radome, crank in 10 units of rudder trim, and then scream for help as your leg starts shaking from exertion.
And flying THROUGH the weather, rather than above it.
For some strange reason...
LMAO, yeah, if all three of us go the way of Comair, that would eliminate half of the regional industry. Leaving WHO to do all of that flying? GoJets and Mesa cannot find enough pilots to do what flying is tossed their way in the first place. I seriously doubt any pilots at the big three...
Way to go XJT pilots!
First thing on the list of changes should be that ALPA gets the same MinDay credit that line pilots receive. 6 hours of pay for turning out garbage like that?! WTFO?
The company likes to drag out negotiations on whatever is the current contract. Well, we can play the...
Who says this job is easy?! We have all those buttons to test and those switches to flip, "GENERATORS....ON", oh, wait, that was on the -200. J/K!
This job is easy ONLY when everything goes PERFECTLY (how often does that happen?).
Seriously, though, it may be "EASY" for some, but there is no...
Don't forget, L-XJT and L-ASA schedulers are both in the same room in ATL. So, if one hub is in SWAP/IROP, the schedulers lean over and tell the others, "That's how we do things up here" and apply that to ALL hubs.
