Gulfstream is claiming 7-8% efficiency gain on their HTFs. 10 years down the development road. That percentage alone might gain 200 miles. Would be great to be able to reliably get from Anchorage to Japan.
Anyone have any solid info they want to share about the block change happening to the CL-30? I have heard, starts with SN 408, INS, some other avionics upgrades. Anyone else have info?
Made me laugh as well. Just wanted to know how much I was getting screwed so I could put a number on it. Honestly, I would have been happy to be returned to what I was making before the pay cuts. But pilots are a commodity. Commodities sometimes get traded.
Anyone have an idea what a 135 Chief Pilot should make in the Northwest? 1 Citation and 2 King Airs, a Turbo Commander, several Shrikes. Full time line pilot, doing most of the FAA dealings, and all the other associated crap. Manage about a dozen pilots. Been doing it for 5-6 years, just curious...
Had one go out a while back. Our guys searched quite a bit, I believe $27ish was the best they found. We have one now that wobbles now and again, supposedly a warning sign. I'm sure it will fail at some garden spot far from a repair station. It is MELable if necessary.
We have an opening for a AC690 Air Attack pilot for the upcoming season. Position requires 50 hours in type, which is not negotiable, as it is a govt. contract requirement. PM me if interested.
Simplot might give you their Hawker 800. It's a little older, has all the same Hawker limitations, but could be had for a song where you're at. Besides, you should always buy LOTS of fuel when on day trips. I have the listing at my office, PM me if you're at all curious.
