I would be very surprised if all the captain slots are not filled with former Air Tran pilots. The only "fence sitters" senior enough to get a slot will be those who have been sitting there since before the acquisition, and I doubt they'll change their mind now.
We (SWA) have an FO turning 65 on Friday. Last flight is Thursday. He's flying 92+ hours (not TFP) this month. God help me if I'm flying 92 hours for the month I turn 65.

I was always too scared to try that "roll on" method of landing. I just flared until it looked about right and waited. Some were good, some not so bad, and a few were controlled crashes. I must admit it was a pretty cool first jet for me...
Passed two thousand feet below it over the Sierra Nevadas Saturday. We were on converging paths. First thought it was Virgin America (the red on the tail really stands out). Then, as it got closer recognized the Delta colors. Thought it was a 767 until finally seeing that it was a 747.
Is it possible? Yes. Probable? Not likely. You can drop only the trips someone else is willing to pick up. Doesn't happen very much at the junior bases.
