Undies!!!!!!
Rumor has it there will be quite a few changes on the 3rd floor beginning at the years end... Has the truth finally made it to the top? I guess that safety audit didn't go so well....
Captain Undies can correct me if I am wrong, but as far as I know the ATP written results ARE required for purposes of establishing what HKCAD written exams you need to take when converting your license here. Isn't the "subject" area stated on that document concerning any missed questions...
Moose,
1) I buy a ticket.
2)Depends on the Month. For me it averages about 280.00/Month. (A lot of guys use Zed and Id90's). Most of the guys I know commute. Some would rather drive 3-4 hours. It works out to be 2 patterns a month.
3) To be honest, the 280/month is worth it for me. I...
First off, be careful looking at the pay on Airlinepilotpay. Im not sure what PAX pay that displays. I can tell you it is not the USAB "B" scale that many of us are employed under (prior to joining jan08). It looks like the new conditions of service (cos08=pay cut) but im not sure. Freighter...
So you mean all the technically inclined geniuses here on Flight Info didn't guess right in their 10+ page (yet professional) thread regarding empty fuel tanks? Even after the facts were out..
I completely agree, kinda scary isn't it? I don't think this is something that will be swept under...
Absolutely correct, however that's the problem. It is not true, yet it will never end from the ignorant individuals ranting. If I had a dollar for ever rumor a pilot started I would be playing golf with Donald Trump.
I agree that there are many programs that are good and its nice to hear...

Absolutely False. Another "rumor" that floats around and never ends. Sure, a few kids their had money but the average student came from middle class households. Just like every other school.
My dad made 65K a year and was able to help some. Many other friends I know were in the same boat...
Funny, isn't that attitude all over this forum? Airline guys, Military guys, UND, GA, whatever... There are very few on here that actually post good info without being disrespectful or arrogant.
I too attended Riddle and I am happy that I did. A school is only as good as the graduates it...
I don't think you understood me. I agree to stick to the flight plan. Do most icing incidents happen at cruise levels or low levels? So does your flight plan speed really matter in the original question being asked? Having said that, my point is if ANYTHING i wouldn't slow agreeing with...
classof75 is right. Besides slowing down increasing AOA and exposing more surface area, you are increasing your chances of controllability problems depending on the severity of the ice.
AA717driver,
Considering ice is rarely encountered at cruise levels (i can think of maybe 2 times) I don't...
No Problem. Start with the their website and gather as much info about the company history, finance, aircraft orders.
Any Book with aerodynamics, Handling the Big Jets, Jet engines...etc.
Get as much gouge however DO NOT limit yourself to what others are being asked, use it as a guidline...
This should answer your questions about Hiring. Another 17 more airplanes on top of a dozen or so comming. How the heck they plan on crewing them i have no idea! Interesting times ahead...
