I did interview prep with http://www.cageconsulting.com once for an airline interview and again for netjets. Both times I thought it was great prep and it put me more at ease during the actual interviews. I was offered positions both times, so I think they did a good job. I wouldn't hesitate to...
Good group of guys, and they have an actual schedule, unlike many 135 operators. When someone I know was there in 2008-2010, they did there best to get the planes home between trips, so you probably won't spend the entire 17 day stretch on the road. I know they do try to keep at least 1 plane...
Hi All,
Has anyone been interviewed or called without the 50 ME in the last 12 months?
I've been out of 121/135 for a couple of years and have all mins except this one. I do have SE currency of at least that though.
Thoughts?
Thanks
I left Eagle after about 4 years to go fly 135 and try to get that PIC turbine box checked. It's a crap shoot, you have to enjoy what you're going to be doing / flying, and there is a lot more to the PC-12 job than just flying the PC-12. Pay, Benefits, time off, time away from home, etc, etc...
- Do you mind if we don't pay you when you go to training?
- Regarding Vacation, you can just trade schedules with other pilots to get your time off, is that OK with you?
my .02 Recurring training contracts are uneforcable. It's a ********************ty place to be in, and they may come after you. Take your new (and hopefully much BETTER job) and roll with it. good luck.
Other options to try and get out may be:
FMLA
"Losing" your medical or being unable to fly...
If you want to leave your day job, for a flying gig, get any job you can right now and keep looking for "THE" job you want. It is easier to get a flying job when you have a flying job.
Anywhere you can go to get some multi time - If you are independent instructing can you find an FBO to contract at for advanced pilot training in ME?
Or try to get a gig flying parachute jumpers / skydivers, even if you start in their SE, a lot of these places have ME planes they also fly.
