i'm sorry. i'm not trying to fan the flame here, but i've gotta ask.
2 questions about the times you flew down to mins with students.
#1 - was the weather at mins?
#2 - you were with a student in a twin. were you both flying? were your hands on the controls? were you flying these approaches...
dude. re-read my post. did i say regional f/o's suck? was i beating my chest?
i don't do the single pilot thing anymore. i'm a 135 hawker f/o, upgrading next month...in front of a 37 yr old guy that's been here almost a year longer than me. lol. he went from instructing to regional f/o. that...
gotta agree with nopax there. frieght dogs have a much harder job than regional f/o.
i flew 135 charter in the northeast. old, $hitty, broken down planes that needed a paint job. we were basically freight dogs with people in the back, during the day...with an autopilot. ok. so we weren't...
wow. those guys were f-ing dorks. i'm talking big f-ing dorks.
i can't believe i just wasted 13.5 mins watching a top gun remake with rental cessnas.
thanks russian
how can you see a nice field when it's dark, guy? have you ever flown at night? dark is dark.
dark is a field, yeah. but dark is also trees. dark is water. dark is a mountain.
have you ever flown at night?
ha. i miss those hawks man. good times. flew one a year or so ago when i went back. i was f-cking scared to death. haven't been in one since.
dude things are good. in ny. upgrading next month. already flying left seat. just gotta hit simuflite for upgrade, then i should be good. loving it dude...
unanswerd.
i disappeared from flightinfo for a year or so. just too busy/lost interest. i left in the days of some TAB douchebags. i hated reading their posts, yet i always read their post for a good laugh.
anyway, now that i'm back - i'm glad to see someone has taken their place. way to go...
when i was flying single pilot charter in mass, i never did a flight without my ipod. twin cessna, so i had to use a real headset. just put my apple buds in my ears and put the headset over them. couldn't even feel them.
i did it on every leg and no one ever said a word. i would do it with pax...
in my eyes, this gives you an interesting story for the interview. am i wrong? i'm not saying it's going to give you a leg up. if you were shooting a dumb movie for school and some prick wanted to turn you in for nothing, i don't see the problem.
wrong place. wrong time. just the way i see it.
why get married anyway? it's just gonna end up in divorce. 'lease' a woman. 18-21...preferrably. once a year (say...on her b-day) trade her in for a new one.
it's the wave of the future :D
i agree. shouldn't associate forgone education with six figure incomes. then again, you can't rule it out. the degree may/may not open doors. it depends on the route you take. personality/flying ability/previous experience goes a long way. everyone takes a different route. who knows where you're...
