If money were no object, then I wouldn't be working. That would give me time to fly my P-51 around for fun and buy an HU-16 Albatross and start a non profit flying charter for the Hooters staff.
:D
True Celestial Navigation is mainly done by boat and ship captains, I have never heard of a pilot doing this and if you did, you would need someone to fly the plane while doing the formula.
Agree with Bobby 100%.
And just because Pinnicle says they are upgrading in 4-6 months today doesn't mean they won't furlough tomorrow.
Stay put.
(I know nothing about Pinnicle, just making an observation in general.
It is not easy, as nothing seems to be right now.
Although it will be a tough road, much better times are ahead for pilots in my opinion. Those that stick it out now will see better times later in their professional career.
It is tough all over though. If he can keep instructing while looking...
Anyone know of charter operators that run from Ft. Luaderdale or Miami to Marathon?
Trying to book a trip down there and would rather not rent a car and drive.
Thanks in advanced.
Guess it matters what kind of mission the person answering needs, wants, or uses.
If operating cost were taken out of the equation, a twin any day for the obvious reasons the other posters listed.
There are not many signle engine planes (piston) that can really carry six people, so singles...
If you have an extra day, go sport fishing. Kona is one of the best big game fish area's of the world....I am sure Maui has charter boats also though.
Nothin quite like hooking a 500 lbs Marlin.
If you do catch one, be sure to tag and release it though!
I think about how lucky you professioanl pilots are every day. I know that it is tough out there right now espescially for those newer pilots just looking for their 1st (or 2nd or 3rd) jobs and also for those pilots on furlough, but you will find that job and you will get off furlough and...
The replica cobra's are very sweet.
Two guys in my neighborhood each have one. One day I'm gonna talk one of them into a ride.
Also have neighbors that have an NSX, Boss 302, Viper (olderone) and there are about 3-4 completely restored hot rods here and there.
Funny thing is, all these...
The new Mot phone is worthless. I have a buddy that has had 3 new phones because of issues with it- all different issues like not ringing, not going into voicemail etc.
Everytime we are out doing something his wife ends up calling (and getting through) me to talk to her husband. I have the...
There was a very good thread on this a few months back. Try searching the forum.
Really matters where you live and where you are.

Att, Cingular, and Verizon all have decent service...
QUOTE:"I understand they already have 500 orders.... wow"
Well, that's where it gets a little gray....
Not sure what you mean by a club having 112. This is the first one.
Good for them. They still have a long road ahead of them though...
Bigd, I read a while back that the factory plans on doing pilot training for insurance purposes. The factory was requiring 1200 tt for new owner/pilots to take the course.
Don't know the answer to your question, but it is a...
