Does anyone know what is going on over at Midway? I heard they actioned off equipment to help finance a possible restructuring. Have they actually been training/requal pilots on the RJ's yet or anything else concrete?
just curious
Yes Allegheny has reached a TA, and we will get a chance to read over the agreement and vote on it soon.
Yes it is a concessionary agreement, and as such there is not much to get excited about. That's why they call it a "concessionary agreement" and not "free beer and buffalo wings agreement"...
Cmon, use logic... If the DO328 was a money maker, then there would have been a bigger market for the plane.
Think about it, Jetstream never picked up the additional 25 options it had on the aircraft. Horizon went to the expense to get rid of the entire fleet type (and for what, hmmmm? thats...
"I hated to hear that 35 Dash 8 leases are being turned in. 12 at ALG and 23 at PDT. "
Look, I hate to break it to you, but the fleet plan over the next few years shows an elimination of the entire DO-328 fleet BEFORE the Dash 8's are retired. I know that the DO-328 is newer, but it is also...
"A contract that, as it now stands, is being undercut by WO's concessions..."
Look Kid, we set the level that all other regionals have strived to reach way BACK IN 1994, and we still have stuff AFTER concessions that no/few other regionals have. Undercut...? We lost half of our flying and all...
Freedom sounds good to me, is there a specific address that we can send resumes to?
Im excted about the chance to move out west again to PHX.
Oh, I fly for Allegheny so it is quite allrght for me to apply to Freeedom for a flying position...
Thanks for any info
:D
I hate to burst anyones bubble... but
First off, their first and foremost priority is to spend what capital Group can obtain on obtaining EMB-170/5's for MDA. There is no other reason for the creation of Mid Atlantic other than the competitive advantage and operational restucturing that these...
Was curious if the MCI expansion this fall meant more furloughees might be called back. Also what the status of the 717 order was looking like
Thanx
PS. Is it still Midwest Express. or Midwest now...?
I guess the real question is if the ATA Charter Division would still be staffed by, and under the contract of the ATA pilots?
I assume by charter, they also mean the sizeable military contract and not just the occasional funjet-kinda flying...
Any word?
The application is a old pne if the last one you filled out was grey colored. If you have an old on on file they will have you complete out a new one for them
Good luck
Thanks Scott for the info,
For the ATA folks out there, I was curious what the rumored fleet plans are now that they snagged the big increase in military charter. More L10's, or a mix of L10's and additional 757's?
Thanks for the info
If you dont mind me asking, I was curious what kind of jet time you had, both mil and civl. It is my impression that the people ATA selected to interview this week tended to have a fair amount of experience. If you would elaborate on the age/experience composition of your interview class that...
