    Aa Pilots

If the Nov furloughs are recalled, they will be replaced by (former) TWA guys that are below them on the integrated seniority list. Haven't heard anything about a true recall and wouldn't expect it this year.

    Questions for SWA pilots

I'm currently in the hired pool at SWA hoping for a class date prior to April. To do something constructive, I ordered the study cards from John Pansmith (Actually I had my wife order them for me for Christmas!). After going through them, I have some questions that I could use a little help...

    Sympathy for the recently furloughed

By the way, I'm pretty sure the reconojet and spacesled were vehicles you get for him to ride in. I had the spacesled but we weren't rich enough to afford no reconojet!

    Sympathy for the recently furloughed

Good laugh While I have better things to do than respond to the fool that started this thread, I had to help out those of you trying to find "Maj Matt Mason." Major Matt Mason was a toy from the 60s. I got one for Christmas in 1968. They were like small G.I. Joes in outer space. He even has...

    Questioons about Military flying...

Air Force Academy Don't rule out the Air Force Academy because of your intention to go on a mission. I knew many Mormans (sorry if that's not the PC term..) that attended the Academy when I did and they took 2 years off to do it after their 2nd year, then returned and finished the last 2 years...

How many pilots at SWA now?

Just wondering if anyone currently at SWA could let us know how many pilots Southwest has right now. If the 650 to be hired is true, I'm just wondering what kind of seniority we might have by the end of next year. Thanks!

    AA getting Sued??

TWA Dude, You spelled it out as well as anything I've seen written on this subject. I was very briefly an AAL newhire (I was in the last class in August). Although I was only there a short time, in my opinion your observation of the Mgt vs APA relationship is right on. I'm currently in the...

    Newhire classes - SWA

I interviewed way back in March, job offer pending the type in May, Finished my type on 22 Oct and was called the next day to say I was complete and in the pool. The May to Oct delay was for short trip up the road to AAL. Fortunately they furloughed me before my 6 months ran out allowing me to...

    Newhire classes - SWA

Just heard the same words from Jennifer McCallion. The rumor has been 1 class in Jan and 2 more in March so this is even better! Anyone heard any updated rumors of more classes in Feb-Mar?
