You would think a company like Ducan would come up with a STC to add INS.
What ever is cheaper and who would do the work for them, I bet Garmin is doing all the work to make their boxes play. Just like Colins did the leg work for the PL21 in the 60.
One Learjet 45 sim is down in Dallas for retrofit to Garmin 3000, you know what that means! I wonder if it will be the same type rating, with such a radical change in the cockpit?
The cold starting limit is a TFE731 thing, it takes a lot to move that cold gear box oil for the fan when it's below 0. you should have a GPU or APU below 0 c.
I agree with you...If that really happens, that is some stupid $hit, a couple of NTSB interviews with other pilots will determine that the guy says that all of time and is a really idiot.
I heard a Houston center controller the other day, ask an aircraft that checked in on the wrong frequency "where you at". The aircraft said say again, he repeated "where you at". It took a few more exchanges on a busy frequency, before he said return to your last frequency. I could believe...
