I agree with that as well. The problem is that Congress would have to impose term limits on themselves and we all know how that would go.
Another stupid thing: Congress has like, what, 90% disapproval rating? But, when people are polled about their own Rep or Senators they say they are great...
THAT GUY? ORLY? I remember talking with him at the 2002 BOD and quickly realizing that "the lights were on but nobody was home, he wasn't playing with a full deck, he lost his marbles."
Who can name that song?
I don't remember that happening too much. Yeah, there were a few folks that did that but, not many. We were doing slow taxis and didn't complain if we got 26R but, I didn't see anyone go out of their way to cost the company more money. A lot of folks quit trying to save money though.
True, weird story: when XJT was in contract negotiations a few years ago the pilots were doing a "no logo lights" campaign. A couple of years later when the TA was signed the VP of Flight Ops thanked the Union for saving the company hundreds of thousands of dollars on light bulbs.
Not all ER's, just some. Mostly the ones we got from other airlines (Gulf Air).
Holy crapola! I knew something ACL didn't. Sweet jebus, what is the world coming to? :p
I say we add a another crew member who sits in a ball turret on the nose and gets to shoot the brand spankin new Goose Gatling Gun.
The ATR gets a tailgunner. :D
Wachu talkin bout Willis? Delta doesn't have orals anymore. Electronic systems validation now. The way that thing works, not having memory items would remove a bunch of questions from the question bank.;)
Just to clear a point, there are only a handful of 2007 hires still on probation. Those, for the most part, are on military leave.
Delta's probation lasts one year or 400 flight hours, whichever happens first. Most folks got off probation within six months.
Dalpa did send out a blastmail about this tragedy last week complete with name and what happened.
We don't layover in Amsterdam but, in the Haag just a few blocks from the beach. The FO in question and the captain were riding bikes over there. Apparently, a car was honking its horn at the...
I just got my one-year service pin  and it looks nothing like the ones everyone else has. It is totally silver with no color on the widget. Also, the wings have a slightly different shape in that proportionally the widget is larger than the wings. Kinda weird lookin.
