AmishRakefight is right. part 61 is the way to go, I did one of my licenses part 141 and hated it. seems like i was rushed through it, they just wanted my money and get me done, and i barely could ask questions.

ya i'm thinking bout it. i mean i just got out of college and trying to flight instruct so i mean i got some time to figure out what i really want to do. but if i get too bored i'll probably go reserves
ahahahaha, well with my low time and that rating people just look at me funny...well they already do but still. it will be a while before i will have the correct time to have a rating like that.
No clue, i just heard that a few guys got their 73 rating paid for either 80-100% so they could go to southwest. So thats why i wanted to find out, it'd be a good thing to have in the back pocket. But that was hear say so take it as you want.
Theres a few on aviationcareer.com, its only $7.95 a month, you can pay for each month. They just had a listing for a CE550 pilot, few Lear positions, and i know that Chicago Jet Group was looking for a 900 pilot a few months back so you might want to try them.

So I heard some rumors that the state of Michigan would pay for a type rating if not part of it. Does any body have this information on who to go to. I'm just wondering, it'd be great information to have down the road

Does anyone know if theres any CFI jobs around the Detroit area...prefer PTK, ARB, YIP, OZW, FNT. Been looking around, just came up short. Seems like no one is hiring CFIs due to this economy...specially in Michigan.

sounds like you got the same a$$hole we got the other day there, we called just to verify the instructions and got about a 2min lecture on that. someone needs to get laid
