We won't know exactly what they plan to do until the time comes. The APA has already made it known through their legal filings that they intend to allow the West separate representation through the arbitration process. Once the NMB rules and the 30 day waiting period ends APA takes over the...
KiddDynomite:
It's easy to look down from the outside and like a parent with fighting kids choose not to care who started the fight. Of course, when you're the brother who got kicked and Mom punishes only you because she saw you kick back you view the situation differently.
There's really no...
Well, it's certainly true there could be knuckleheads on the West doing stupid stuff and I'm ashamed of any pilot who mindlessly takes out his anger on others. That being said, history points to Easties being the more likely culprits. Very misplaced anger.
Curses, Typo strikes again.
But seriously, what's interesting about the various sabotages taking place is that it isn't easy to find out who's taking the plane next. (Doable, but it requires effort.) So the Easties are laying their little bombs usually without knowing if the next crew is...
Nope. But it's certainly being committed by Easties. Along with various substances being smeared on the control stick and such. Exactly the kind of behavior the East is known for. And don't forget the court injunction.
What I don't understand is the number of broken items that aren't...
Wow, that's just plain sad. I fly with people I enjoy hanging out with all the time. I hope that some day you'll be lucky enough to have that experience as well. (!?!)
Yes, I exist both on the Nic list and AA furloughed. My current plan is to stay put. Not betting on anything. I'm on 11 year pay here vs 4 year if I take recall. If anything changes I'll reevaluate my plan.
Thank you for your concern. Marty did leave the firm around fall of last year. No idea why but there's no change in our representation from him and Andy.
How long till the next "rumor" that AOL is broke surfaces?
The first line of the update indicates otherwise.
Once again, no word from the APA, only USAPA. It's unclear exactly what took place but for the reasons I stated a few posts ago there is zero impetus for the APA do anything other than wait for the NMB to rule. 30 days later and poof, no more...
I let yesterday's USAPA update simmer for a day to make sure y'all had read it. Here's the first paragraph:
"From our P4P feedback, we have heard there may be some confusion when pilots read the BPR Resolutions from the BPR Special Meetings of April 23 and April 28. There is not yet any...
Um, they made a public announcement that there's an impasse. JCBA prep talks are certainly in progress so it's not like all contact broke off. I don't think anything of consequence took place regarding the SLI.
Don't forget I'm an APA member and I frequent their message board. Not a peep...
