    I'm looking for a place where I can earn my CFI/CFII/MEI and then instruct. Would you recommend the place? Which location are you at? Do instructors move from one location to another? What sort of condition are the aircraft in? Thanks

    LGB departures???

    Getting out of LGB There is a DP for LGB; Anaheim Two (ANAHM2.SLI) although I've never had it assigned. Typically dinks like me get the Obstacle DP which is Runway heading until 800' left to 200 degrees and then vectors until own navigation

    CFIs in So. Cal. area...question for you

    If only those rates were common. I fly out of LGB and see rates between 20 and 35 an hour. The CFI teaching me to keep the glass side down has over 5,000 hours of dual given only charges 30 an hour. The only people I see charging more than that are FAA Designated Examiners.
