Good news is we only need to remove 217 50's from DCI now..

You're being somewhat insensitive to the families involved. Two people with families and loved ones are dead and potentially more could have been.

While we all enjoy a good joke, some things just shouldn't be joked about.

Dude, he killed a woman and his intentions were to get that plane airborne. What was his intentions if he had gotten it airborne? Was he intending to just kill himself or fly it into something and take others with him? This is a pretty serious incident that could affect all us pilots.

This and the jetBlue pilot are way too much publicity for mental health screening for pilots.

These two are going to make life much harder for the rest of us.

No woman is worth that kind of heartache. Just break up with her and move on.

I wonder how much fuel was on that plane and what his intentions were. Thankfully he didn't hurt more people.

Yup, thankfully it wasn't a big story when that Delta pilot beat and raped his wife in front of his kids down in Peachtree City

You are an idiot!!

if the guy did kill his wife and was running from the law, i have no sympathy and he took the easy way out by shooting himself....

while i agree it will make things much harder for pilots via jetblue crazy..... it was only a joke.

the tragedy was that woman was killed a the hands of someone unable to handle or process whatever he was going through

Can SAPA use this as leverage for QOL improvements?

"Our pilots are killing their girlfriends and then stealing the airplanes!"

Maybe get crew meals?

Joke or not...two peoples lives were lost and the families of those are severely impacted so in my opinion it`s not really something to joke about. I have no sympathy for the accused either but i am not one to make light of the situation.
