Seriously...What pay rate would it take for you to do this? Me? $200/hr. + free housing. That ain't ever gonna happen.

Although not ASA, I'd have to be given $80/hr+ as FO, plus $4 per diem for every hour I was away from Denver, free private housing, a $5000 signing bonus, $40/hr hazard pay, 100% international medical, dental, vision, an $8000 completion bonus, a bonus of $80,000 for even considering it, $5,000 bonus for my wife slapping me in my face for even bringing it up, and $4800 just because.

Oh yeah...pay off my student loans, too...I'm there :)

People there love to ask how much money you make. 17,000:1 dong to dollar ratio makes ya a millionaire!!! They truely think fo pay is awesome. You can live like a king there. A full time servant costs 100 bucks a month! No more ironing shirts, that's for sure...

You said "dong."

ATC: Cleared to land runway of choice Ha Noi

Pilot: Land? Last time I was here all I did was drop my payload.

ATC: POW bus waiting at gate.

In Vietnam, the wind doesn't blow. It sucks.

Sorry SJS ASA CRJ "9" FOs, this assignment will only be for the CAs. False Alarm.

At least you won't have to replace Vietnamese pilots with cheap American labor so have some dignity.
