jobless at this time, taking what I can get until something better comes. Please just answer the question. We all have our own reasons for doing what we do.

I hear Republic might be ramping up again this summer. Netjets is hiring. I would consider Mesa a last-resort option. It is in a financially-precarious position and it has a terrible work environment from what I hear. Why set yourself up for disappointment?

No need to bash me going to an interview. I know the story...

Career-wise you might be better off doing something else rather than risking you tickets at mesa. They will tell you to do something to cover a short-term crisis need and then self-disclose the next day so THEY don't risk getting fined. Also don't expect to have airplanes which are legal to fly...up to you to decide whether their fly-by-night paperwork shortcuts meet the letter of the law on a per-leg basis. BTDT

Times are tough. I got friends and former students that are Mesa pilots so at least try to go in there with both eyes open. SJS still exists.

In all seriousness, don't wreck your flying career by going to Mesa. The majority of legacy carriers already know that Mesa is the place guys go to work when they cannot get hired at any other airline. If you do a little research on the company, I think you'll realize that you probably don't even want to attend the interview. Even communting for another airline will be better than living at base with Mesa.

Like having 8 days off a month, being owned by high school dropout schedulers that could care less that you have a life, mangers that try to make you do illegal things that don't follow the contract, not being paid, canceled flights, no block or better(you'll love that in IAD and ORD), working with a fantastical pissed off pilot group.
