Yes. Nothing new. 15 airplanes for the charter op. Nothing going to Mexico. Nothing yet for the remaining 54 airplanes. JR said they were still in talks with some carriers to place the airplanes in a CPA and if that doesn't work they will do branded flying with them starting in the 2nd Q 07. Very vague with no information we didn't already know.

Yeah how so? Thanks for caring!!

I don't think he was bashing your airline. Lighten up, Francis...

I listened to the CC and it sounds like a big fat "we don't have any idea what we're going to do with our airplanes, but we really hope we can score one of the bids we have out now." I especially liked the questions about branded flying "So is this going to be like FlyI?"

I really hope you guys figure out someplace to put your airplanes, but the Pres or CEO or whoever was doing the CC sounded kinda desperate as he was trying to be upbeat.

Desperate? How bout its his job to sound upbeat and How bout you let us worry about our airline and you worry about yours. MMMMKKKKAAAAYYYY

We shall see soon enough!!

Lighten up francis!!:D

I've said it before.

69 50-Seater (Erj at that) are not a hot commodity. I think XJT is holding out for the delta flying which I don't think they will even have a shot at considering their high costs. I think they’re thinking is those XR somehow have everyone drooling over them

Guys, I know this is a little off topic, but could someone elaborate on something for me??? Didn't you guys pass a T/A that had several modifications in it regarding 135 flying? Also, I believe there was a pay modification of 6% or so....was this a raise or decrease in hourly rates? Thanks for the info guys, just curious and trying to look at some options.

First off I would appreciate it if you could post some factual information on our Costs and Performance that suggests that our costs are to high and no company would choose us. Factual Info now not SuperKooter BS!

We are voting on the extension on the 10th and it included pay increases for the 121 side and extensive raises (18 dollar overide) on the charter flying. On top of that our current contract which is at the top of the regional industry right now also recieved some modifications to make it better. Hope that answers your questions.

I've been in this industry for 10 years and I think I know how this works pretty well. Xjt is putting all their eggs in 1 basket and they don't even know if they have that basket yet.

SuperPilot92 why be so bitter and defensive??? Why do you take everything as a personal attack? I've listened to the last two CC's and the CEO said in the last one that they'd have some positive news next Q. So today... NOTHING. I know a few pilots there, 1/4 of them are optomistic still---the others are starting to get their resume's up to date and look elsewhere. Also---if you guys go off branded.... which it sounds like that will happen once Delta divides their flying up between CHQ/Skywest/Comair, I don't see how that is gonna make money, it might keep the airplanes flying--but not making $$$ (FLYI Example). Much like I don't see "corp. charter" making money when you all just installed some XM radio and threw in a few inches of legroom. If people want corp. charter, they'd turn to Champion, Netjets, Flight Options, FlexJet....

Just my $.02... don't be so defensive SuperPilot... I think most people on here hope something pans out for you guys.... myself included. It just is starting to look and sound like you guys are getting desperate.

Well your 10 years means squat if you dont put your money where your mouth is. Show us something other than SuperKooter BS! By you saying XJT is putting all their eggs in 1 basket, you just showed everyone that DOES know something about XJT that you dont know anything. XJT is probably more diversified than any other company out there. Its just not all in flying right now. The airline is evolving and we will see if we land another CPA or if we succeed in our Charter and or Branded flying if we dont get another CPA with another carrier. But this airline is very well diversified. But you knew that, right Kooter?

Looks like your smiley guys need to drop their beer and pick up pom-poms.

Why do you feel the need to defend all things XJT? I work here to, I have for over 2 years, how about you? Yeah it's a good place to work with some really great people. I also listened to the conference call and I have to agree with some of the other posters that say that things aren't looking so good for us right now. Is that the pilot's fault? No. Is it somehow taboo for these guys from other companies to question the direction of our management? No. I don't think anyone is wishing ill will towards XJT, except for Superkooter who has proven to be the town moron more times than not, however they are asking the same things that we are asking, what in the hell is going on with the 69 airplanes? If you want to drink the kool-aid, go right ahead. But I believe it is healthy to question things around here right now.

No bitterness Here Boss! But we here at XJT are watching whats going on here at our company. I believe this company is going to do fine, that doesnt mean i'm not trying to get my time and get out because thats what this is all about right? Moving up the career chain. Most people on here from outside of XJT dont know half of whats going on here thats whats annoying. Is there uncertainty? Yes but i invite you to show me any company in this industry that is stable. I say again there is no bitterness here, i just get tired of people spouting off BS. I know I know its a forum and its all BS right?

Bottom line, XJT is a company that was forced into change and I hope it all works out for the best.:D

Well put.... Jan. 2007 is right around the corner, and that is when the pinch is gonna happen at XJT. Are you guys going to hurt if you don't have something lined up immediately... no---your company is sitting on a LOT of cash. Do you need something to happen?? Absolutely. And I agree with TN Pilot---SuperKooter... pay $10, create a new username, study up a bit on things before you post....come back a bit wiser and people might respect you on here.

About the Pom-Poms, I admit that is pretty good.

Kooter just proved to everyone that he cant offer a single bit of factual information and just falls back on his BS put downs that he stole from others! Thank you Kooter for showing everyone once again how much of a TOOL you are.

My prognosis...

My best guess is that XJT will be successful with the 15 charter aircraft. The fact that they uped the number from 10 to 15 means that business on that side has potential. Does it mean that it will get larger than 15 A/C? Definitely not initially and probably not much larger over time, 25% growth in that area would be REALLY good but that's a long ways off. I do believe there is a market for large volume corporate shuttles. In fact I believe CHQ already does this sort of work.

As for airline work, despite what Superkooter says, we are working with more airlines than just DAL. Look for us to pick up flying for 25 additional airplanes at most. With that being said, 15 + 25 doesn't equal 69. The other 29 are anyones guess. Might as well flush them into some stupid point to point idea.

Movement here will slow but not come to a hault. There are still A LOT of guys going to CAL every month as well as other places. Line divisors are high so we can afford to cut down on everyone's flying which many if not all would welcome...I'm tired of flying 85+ hrs a month. All of this equals no furloughs in my opinion.

One positive side effect will be watching Superpilot grow bitter over time as his movement slows and he starts to squirm a bit in that right seat of the ERJ which as we know is oh so comfortable.

Not me boss I have been here almost as long as you. I am getting very close to upgrade. TNPilot - dont pretend you've been here a long time and your opinion is worth more than mine. You posted your opinion just as i did. you said you have been here around 2 years, well you are in the same boat i am, you either upgraded recently or are about to. So what happens to this company directly effects you just as much as me. lets hope for the best ans plan for the worst. i am, are you?

Man that was a joke but once again you took things a bit too seriously. Just out of curiosity how long have you been here and how old are you?
