Any of the seemingly couple hundred ASA pilots on this board know what extension to call or who to talk to regarding flight time records? I need info spanning beyond 3 months ago, namely the first 3 months of the year. I searched on crewtrac and flica, couldn't find it..

Thanks in advance for any help..

Tried several times in past years to get my records and I was basically told they do not furnish these for the pilots. It was our own responsibility to handle our own records. I have since contacted the FAA and they are going to be in contact with the company to claarify the problem. It seems to me someone at the GO has no intrest in doing his or her job again. Imagine that. Just my experience both past and present attempts.

umm, well,,,,who's job was it to keep track of your flight time before you came to ASA????

Seems to me if you wanted an acurate and to date record of you flight time (probably to fill out a resume for some other airline), you would have been interested in doing "your job" and kept up with the times yourself. Rather than expecting someone else to do it for you. It isn't very hard to do.

i second that!

It's not that simple. If you are a new-hire who needs a high-alt sign off, or RVSM, hypoxia, turbine transition etc, etc, etc. ASA doesn't give you copies of certifications, you're told "....uh, there is a copy in your file."

I went through this about a year ago when I was shopping insurance for my own plane. They only gave me totally generic (effectively useless) and almost illegible print out of training events. This was one sheet of paper that simply had dates and "S", I guess for "satisfactory."

It makes me wonder, where is "the file." I specifically requested it and never received anything worthwhile. Finally the insurance company relented and cut me a break--no thanks to ASA.

I don't understand why the company would refuse a simple request to furnish any and all record of training and revenue flights that any pilot has performed.

Its all in the computer to begin with why not make it assessible once or twice a year.

Some people may have had their dog eat it others may have lost it in say a hurricane or another natural disaster. I for one have no intrest in ever working another airline, ever, this is it for me on a personal note I am trying to get my logbooks back in order. Its amazing the world must only revolve around a pilot.

I misplaced a log book with about 45 days worth of times. I called scheduling and they gave me a printout of my times. I ended up finding the book several days after I got the printout. This was mid 2000, so times was different.
