    Southwest pilots ratify new contract

How do you dig this $h1t up from 1995? Wasn't the internet just the arpanet back then?

    jetblue blowing people away

You can see his nosewheel going across the outermost chevron within the blastpad at 6 seconds into the video. I don't believe you're allowed to even taxi into the blastpads. You'd have to cross some solid lines to get there.

Express Jet Pilot says "NO" to scanner

Whether a sheepdog or wolf, they're both canines. You can't escape that fact.

Express Jet Pilot says "NO" to scanner

The wolf and the sheepdog are the same. They'll kill with whatever means possible. They're both born to kill, train to kill, wake up in the morning thinking of killing and then kill without mercy. The only difference is which side of the fence that dog chose to be on. Those who choose to be...

Express Jet Pilot says "NO" to scanner

If you are the assigned pilot and you want to crash the plane, there is nothing, nowhere, ever, that can stop you. No body scanner, no metal detector, no ID check, no Crewpass, nothing, except maybe a Vulcan mind meld. The Theater of Security is in place merely to keep out anybody that does...

Express Jet Pilot says "NO" to scanner

The role of the sheep dog is to protect the sheep. If the sheep dog violates the sheep in the name of protecting them from the wolves, then what is the difference between the sheep dog and the wolf? The job of the sheep dog is tough. It is a fine line that they have to walk. But that is the...

    Well, today was the day

In American society, most people have an issue with having their genitals and breasts (women) inspected or touched. If you disagree, you should go to the supermarket, find a nice looking man or woman in the produce aisle, walk up and touch their genitals. Let us know how it goes. Most of us...

    Well, today was the day

The TSA's goal is to make the body scanner the standard tool. Therefore, if you do not want to go through the scanner ever, you will experience the secondary screening always. Which means, each time you go through, you will be secondary screened. That is a change. That is different than the...

    Xe + ev = 1

There won't be any kind of one list until the Skywest pilots want it as well. The best way to make the Skywest pilots want a union is for them to realize they just got whipsawed. Whether it be ASA taking a cut and getting the work instead, or Skywest pilots taking a cut for the work. Either way...

I believe one of the Blues actually hit a bird last year at the BKL show on takeoff.

    Thank you Express Jet (Jetlink)

Ok, then don't know why they would have had to go all the way down to the end. Sorry you didn't get much sympathy in this thread. And sorry you had to keep your hot date at the hotel waiting.

    Thank you Express Jet (Jetlink)

Taxiway A was closed when I was there this weekend. Coming in on 22, if you missed F, you were going to the end, as there was no place to exit anywhere in the middle of the runway.

    Undercutting the undercutters...lovely career

Doesn't ALPA employ a lobbyist or two in Washington? What do they do all day? Isn't it their job to affect changes in law? Isn't that what a political action committee is supposed to do? What did those "I backed the pac" stickers get us? Age 65 rule change? Why should longshoremen or...

    A-10 Q?

Just because the troops are Dutch does not mean the air support has to be Dutch. The aircraft could have come from any country that has deployed aircraft there. The A-10s could only have been American. The Apache could have been American, Dutch or British.
