So, if you're a Boeing engineer, how much did you pay the families of Flt 6? Boeing had to change a checklist after that crash.
Also, EGPWS has issues. An example is "too low flaps". My airplane will never get get "too low flaps" warning due to the speed we fly. The threshold for that is...
At UPS, the lower cargo is Class C and main deck is Class E. UPS is also developing fire proof/self extinguishing containers.
All fleets are being outfitted with EVAS systems and I know the MD11 has full face O2 masks, but am not sure about the rest of the fleets.
While waiting for the new...
At AE, you paid per leg until 5 years of service then coach was free. Since Skywest is not wholly owned, I suspect you'll pay per leg instead of a flat rate
PFTEXPJET,
Sorry I didn't see it was from someone else.
As far as Mr 12500, ATR, CRJ. The only place I can think of that had that combo is ASA. I could look down my nose at those guys (Comair, Pinnacle, Chatauqua, Express Jet, etc.) because they were all PFT but I don't.
It sucks for Comair...
While not necessarily a fair comparison due to the flying, there are several lengths at brown.

24-102 hr HNL
24-72 hr PVG, NRT, TPE
24-48 hr ALA, DXB, SYD, SZX

The hard part about a bounce in the MD-11 is that you don't necessarily know you've bounced. The tail is small, which correlates to coming down the pipe at 170+ knots if you're heavy, but I don't think it contributed to the FedEx accident. I've seen a re-enactment including control inputs.

36 weeks if you're lucky. I was offered a job several years ago for a driver and declined due to the schedule. You have off season appearances, testing, etc. I know guys who flew for Yates and Earnhardt Sr. who left because it got to be too much.
