When I was flyin the lears thats pretty much where we had to put the food. If it wasn't too crowded i'd just leave it packaged and put it in a forward facing seat and just try to make a nice smooth take off...Certainly no storage in those things!
I never worked for Chataqua but I had an 18,000 dollar contract before I came to Netjets, and my lawyer settled it for 1,500...I only paid him 500, so 2K total. I had some circumstances in my favor though so don't know if that is the status quo.
RTS told our recurrent class it wasn't happening. He said they looked at flying some sports teams, but they go to the low bidder and tear up the equipment and after some research he said it wasn't the kind of business we were looking for.

Well I was in recurrent 4 weeks ago and RTS said they were "exploring many different options" and although it didn't sound promising, he certainly didn't say it wasn't happening. So if you he said otherwise to you, he's already contridicted himself. I definatley think we could see some changes...
I don't plan on having to because i don't see a new contract being ratified without the same basing system for all, but the answer is, yes I would in order to assure a quality of life for my family that will make them happy.
I"m about to leave PBI and make the commute from CLT...Just gonna buy one way tickets the day before and the company will fly you to anywhere on your last day up to the price of the ticket to PBI...Its a financial sacrifice, but very doable...
Having flown with a number of new hires recently I can honestly say that I'm not that impressed. Take it for what its worth.
