An airplane is certified in only one approach category and although a faster approach may require higher category minimums to be used an airplane cannot be flown to the minimums of a slower approach category. The certified approach category is permanent and independent of the changing conditions...
Ege
Not to bring this thread back to life but we were given a trip to EGE next month and I followed the advice that was given on this thread and got a differant answer. Here's what the current answer I was given. After calling the FBO and being transfered to Airport Management Office this is...
Go to NBAA.com and the top right of the page is a box to "Contact your congressman". Follow the instructions, takes about 5 minutes. I am really surprised around the industry of the pilots who don't know what TSA is trying to do! Also the FBO's who don't think this will effect them!
Used Alton a few years back on a CJ and they did good work. The paint shop has changed hands since but I have heard good things. they stay very busy just like the rest of the good shops!
Paint Shop
We had our VII painted at Hawker Beech in San Antonio it took 17 days and did a great job. We looked at other shops but they were the only ones available at the time and 30,000 less than Duncan. I know you didn't ask but we had our interior done at South Star in Uvalde. WHAT A NIGHT...
Small company operation flying about 150 hours a year. This is a single pilot operation. Prefer a pilot already typed in a CJ. PM me if have any questions.
I worked for this company before and they are great people!

Anyone have any information on jobs in the Daytona Beach area? Saw B&B Insurance was hiring. Sent them a resume but heard nothing. Saw where they are still advertising for pilots. Any info?
Thanks

I talked with a Honeywell Rep at the NBAA and was the told the $3000.00 discount was for the vendors not for the retail operator. I have been sent paperwork saying if we upgrade this year we will get the discount.
First off I think you are in a dream world if you think you will only fly 8 to 10 hours additional a month. Have you considered the extra cost of flying on a 135 certificate. First there is additional insurance and training cost for the crew. Don't forget management fees. They don't do this for...
We are sitting in HPN right now, haven't been here in years. When I go to TEB I carry as much fuel as I can, but we are also coming from the midwest. Weather shouldn't be much of an issue but the US Open might impact TEB this weekend. HPN parking seemed to becoming a premium last night
