Your paper bid, is your bid. If your going on MLOA or LOA, the training slot goes to someone else who is attending the recall class. When you return off of MLOA or LOA, you will train in the aircraft you were awarded on the paper bid. You are frozen in that aircraft for 36 months and the...
With a March 12, 2001 DOH, that only leaves around 100 numbers left to the bottom of the list. They'll be going back up by the February or March classes.
FYI concerning training freezes. I was told by Bob Neil that if you are accepting recall and immediately going on MIL LOA or a personal LOA due to a training contract, your training freeze will start from the date of your recall class as if you went to school. It does not start when you...
Anyone hear how many letters are going out for the November class of 20, and when? For those getting called, please let us know your DOH and Sen. #.
Thanks!

Skynet Lite shows the updated recall info as of 7-31-2006 with the most junior person to recieve recall as Sen. #7983 and a DOH of 6-11-2000. I believe that's around 133 letters that went out for a the October recall class of 30. Looks like the end of the list is going to go fast. Won't be...

How heavy is it? We've got one that ways in around 10,312 empty and around 10,800 with crew, charts, and stores. I thought that was pretty heavy for a straight 400. Our other 400 is the highest time 400 in the fleet and is a great performer weighing in around 10,500 BOW.
Anyone have more info on this?
Captain Frank Cheeseman, Chairman of the MEC Training Committee, reported on the activities of his committee during the past several months. Topics included the PIC-Type rating program for First Officers on the 737 and A320. Turn-on of this program is planned for...
What is the provision for if you are under contract to your current employer? Is that an "Accept recall and go on LOA" and you start to accrue longevity again, or are you still frozen in time like you were while furloughed? Also, can a civilian "Accept recall and go on LOA" similar to the...
I'm not sure. Looks like I'm sitting around 900 #'s away right now. I still have a long way to go, but things are starting to happen fast. If the bypass rate stays the same as it is now I may be called about a year from now. But if they increase class sizes, then it may be sooner. My guess...
So, what your saying is that since I have been out since 10-30-01, I would go through the full long school, and incur another 2 year freeze in addition to the 3 1/2 year freeze I left with? If I get the bus or any other aircraft for that matter, I'll be frozen for 5 1/2 years? That kinda...
Hey FutureTEDPilot
Any idea how junior the ORD 320 is? I was furloughed off the 320 in SFO, but would rather be based in ORD now. Shorter commute. For the same reason you had, I would like to go back to the 320. I left with a 3 1/2 year freeze on the bus, and I guess that still applies when I...
