    Everyone Needs Pilots!

Hopefully in June Southwest and American will each fill a class of 50 with Flexjet pilots, that would ground 25 more aircraft for a total of over 40 uncrewed aircraft. I am sure the Flexjet customers will love flying on charter aircraft for months to come. What is this l hear that last week you...

    Best ways to leave Flexjet

Congatulations, Mail in your resignation letter on Friday night with a time and date stamp. This way you sent it in before you left and the US postal service will take care of the rest in a few days.

Word on the street about flex decertification effort...

Yes it was interesting, what was even more interesting was that they now have a stong union and are pi$$ed off http://www.cbc.ca/news/business/westjet-pilots-alpa-1.4634715 Maybe this is an indication how a pro company group of pilots can change their minds and work together with other pilots...

Word on the street about flex decertification effort...

That is the 100% truth. The fence sitters should read that and take it to heart.

    The One Sky Truth

You just have to look at the International RL and see what will be coming down the pipe for the domestic RL. Hard days off are soft to limp. With the shortage of crews be prepared to see soft days off without a CBA in place. Why someone would vote to throw away thier only protection is beyond me.

Netjets call to action (another post from OneSky Crew Lounge)

That is exactely what I was thinking. The red lable pilots have it all now. They have the new aircraft, the good pay and make your own schedule plus a contract that guarantees it stays in place!!!!! Why would they vote to decert and throw away the contract that keep all of this in place for...

    The One Sky Truth

Lets not forget with the amount of pilots leaving Flexjet the rest will be required to pick up the slack. The good old “ be a team player and repo this aircraft as part 91” and give yourself a 16 hour duty day. I too am getting my ducks in a row and saving for a pay cut to go elsewhere. It...

    All Flex (One Sky) Pilots

Rather then having a negative effect on the pilots they should teach KR that pilots are a valuable asset. It would be great if SWA, American, Delta, United, UPS etc would each fill a class of pilots made up of Flexjet pilots in June or July and drain 300 pilots from the Flex senority list and...

FLEX Lear, Phenom, Challenger 300 pilots

Makes you wonder what is in store for the Lear pilots when the program shuts down. Without a union you get an email like the flight attendants. With a union you bid to a position your senority holds.

    My thoughts

He should have had the IBT1108 executive members asking him questions. After all, they are the elected pilot representatives

    Had my answers questioned

Starting pay $52,000 a bit more if you want flex schedule where you work almost every weekend and every holiday. Year 10 SIC is $69,000 Right seat in Phenom for 13 - 15 years before you are able to upgrade. ( we currently have 17 year SIC’s) Three rounds of furloughs in the last 10 years. As...

Why does flight options keep crashing airplanes?

Can you enlighten us to what “crash” you are talking about? Maybe you are just embellishing the incident of black ice While taxiing to the ramp after landing at an uncontrolled field ? Welll which one is it? Sliding on a taxiway or “crash” as you describe it?

    Had enough yet?

Just ask for more time, that 30 minutes assumes no calls to MX or extra cleaning or if you are waiting for a hotel van. Just call in and say what time you left the FBO and the duty off time will be adjusted. If it is a min rest night your duty on time will also be adjusted. Never had a problem...

    Had enough yet?

They have been having this decertification card drive now for a few months. if they were going to get the numbers they needed they would have them by now. Every month that goes by the cards coming in will dry up. Eventually they will reach their peak which will fall short of their goal. Time...

OneSky Management Stoops To A Brand New Low

If we were really a family as RH likes to say, maybe they should treat us as one while we are still alive and not wait until you pass away before they show some common decency. I am sure SD would have liked to have been treated better by the company while he was still alive. It makes me wonder...

    Anti union voters at Flexjet/Options

You are absolutely correct. When we finally got our first contact, all of the worry about looking over your shoulder for backstabbing coworkers went away. All of the stress and pressure directed at you from management and their clones disappeared. Many on the Flexjet side have been experiencing...

OneSky Management Stoops To A Brand New Low

Thanks for sending me a copy of the letter. I don’t know what to say except I am speechless and totally disgusted with Flexjet management. Have they no shame, using a family tragedy in this way. Unbelievable!
