Is there anyone at VX that can provide information on pay/work conditions/living in SFO area/etc. for those who may be interested? It seems like there are quite a few out there looking for a job that could use the info.
For whatever reason, the plan has been Elk City, KS all along. They've been telling us that in recurrent for a couple years now. Smack dab in the middle.
I had the opportunity to fly several KASE landing/departure situations in the sim this past summer. In one of those scenarios I made three attempts with three red screens of death. I developed a whole new respect, beyond what I already had, for our ASE pilots.

I wouldn't characterize a jovial discussion filled with hopes for the demise of an individual's career because he voiced his opinion and had the balls to sign his name to it...followed by four pages of the same old, regurgitated pro-ALPA/anti-ALPA drivel...as "entertainment". To each their own...
Far fetched, maybe...but, dig a little deeper, homeskillet. These days, it's all about reduction of "tail-risk" when it comes to the 50-seat world...and CO holds the leases on a bunch of those Xjet airframes.
